We are so glad that your journey landed you here!

What to Expect

You will be greeted with smiles!  We are excited to meet you and to have you worship with us.  Come as you are. If you are comfortable in a suit, jeans, dress, shorts or flip-flops, that’s all good here.   What you wear on the outside is not nearly as important as what’s in your heart.

Breaking Bread

We like to share the blessing of fellowship often at Corinth.  As each individual will have different preferences, we offer in-person luncheons where we gather around the table or we send take-out containers for those who would like to eat at home.  We hope you can come join us, and share a few stories with us over a meal.

Sensory Room

Corinth cares for families and individuals of all abilities. We provide a Sensory Room for those who need a quiet space and cannot attend the regular worship service with their families. The Sensory Room is for those who are in elementary school – teens with a professionally trained staff member, Demi Barber. To attend families must RSVP so that we can ensure adequate staffing. The Gathering Space is also available, adjacent to the Sanctuary, for those families who would like to participate in the service by watching on the closed circuit monitor.

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

Matthew 19:14

For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.

II Timothy 1:7 NLT

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. “Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!

Matthew 7:7-11

Corinth has a well-known reputation around the Virginia Conference of the United Methodist Church for being a welcoming church that is passionate about missions, both locally and abroad.

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

Romans 8:28

Feed the hungry, and help those in trouble. Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you will be as bright as noon.

Isaiah 58:10

So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.

Matthew 7:12

From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.

Luke 12:48

Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work; If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!
